The Norwegian authorities require that employees who must use fall protection equipment in their work have received training in its use (“Regulations on organisation, management and participation” ch. 8 § 8-1 “Continuous requirements for training”). It is the employer who is responsible for ensuring that the employee has received the necessary training. Our classroom fall protection course is in accordance with standard NS9610. This ensures that you and your colleagues receive a standardized course plan adapted to your everyday working life.
We have also created an online course in basic fall protection that is available in Norwegian, English and Polish.
Fall protection course classroom
The content of the course is in accordance with the curriculum contained in the standard and consists of a theoretical and a practical part. More and more, both employers and clients, are demanding this competence.

– Planning – risk assessment – SJA – 1-2-3 SAFE

– Selection of equipment and method
– Areas of use and limitations

– Anchoring point and anchoring devices

– Fall blocks, fanglines and line system
– Support equipment
– Preparedness, rescue plan, hanging trauma

Practice (4 hours)
– Practice is adapted to the individual industry and company. There are also several practical tasks in the theoretical part as well as the use of video and descriptive images from current tasks.
Target group: The course is suitable for those who work at height and want a course in accordance with the new standard for fall protection. Also suitable for managers who have employees who work at height.
Requirements for prior knowledge: No formal requirements. The course is conducted in English and the written theory test is also in English.
Duration: 1 day.
Price: The price is per participant and includes course materials, course certificate and lunch.
